the Armed Forces community

We pledge to support the Armed Forces community by providing a first-aid training programme for the Armed Forces community.

 

Cost - £12 

 

Delivering affordable first aid training offers volunteering opportunities or career options for the Dorset Armed Forces community. A first-aid qualification supports the employment of veterans, military spouses/partners, and their families (including cadet instructors and volunteers). 

 

 

 First Aid Training & Qualifications for the Armed Forces Community

 

 

 

 

The following courses are available:

Level 3 First Aid

 

First Aid at Work (3-day)

Emergency First Aid at Work (1-day)

Paediatric First (2-day)

Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1-day)

Outdoor First Aid (2-day)

Emergency Outdoor First Aid (1-day)

Forestry First Aid (2-hour)*

 

Level 2 First Aid

 

CPR and AED (1-day)

Basic Life Support and safe use of an AED (4-hours)

Catastrophic Bleeding Control (3-hour)*

 

* Must hold an in-date Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work or Level 3 First at Work qualification.

 

Courses are delivered by a qualified first-aid instructor (ex-military) who holds a Level 5 Certificate in Education, in-date DBS certification, and safeguarding qualification

 

The £12 cost covers registration, a hard copy of your first-aid certificate, plus postage.
